Sesame oil is made from sesame seeds by cold pressing and results from organic farming.
Sesame Oil is a goldish to dark yellow liquid cold-pressed oil obtained from malian organic
seeds of “Sesamum Indicum”. It has been cultivated in Mesopotamia for at least four thousand
years. The women in Babylon employed sesame oil as a cosmetic and as a food. Sesame
seeds contain between 40 and 55% lipids. The unsaponifiable fraction contains sesamin and
sesamolin. This product offers moisturizing/nourishing, purifying/detox, and
regenerating/repairing effects to cosmetic applications.

 

Suggested Use Levels: Lotions & Creams: 3-5% | Balms: 5-100% | Bar Soaps: 3-6% | Hair
Conditioners: 2-5%
