Xanthan gum

Xanthan gum is designed specifically for use in cosmetics and other personal care applications,
especially where ingredients with a low plate count are required. It has a pseudoplastic rheology
profile, little viscosity change over a wide temperature range, and is compatible with high
concentrations of salts and surfactants. This product controls flow during and after application to
the skin, as well as enhances the stability of emulsions, suspensions, and foam.
